Fettuccine with Veggies

Tonight's dinner was regular fettuccine and basil fettuccine tossed with broccoli, tomatoes, baby portobello mushrooms, spinach (without the e. coli I hope), and garlic. The veggies were sauted for a few minutes in some butter and then deglazed with a bit of red wine. (Yellow Tail Shiraz if you care.) Topped with some Parmesan cheese.

I realize we do a lot of pasta dishes. Can you tell I grew up spending lots of time in Italy? ;)

Yellow Tail is a pretty darn good wine to be cooking with - I hope you had a glass in the process!

The fettuccine looks like it is a whole wheat pasta - is it?
